Henderson Ncdcc 3 day 2 night in-school camp (Day 1)

From the 31st to the 2nd of April 2016, Ncdcc conducted a camp for the cadets. All Cadets from the Sec Four, Three and two were involved. There were some complications for those who could not spend the night but were allowed to come back in the morning the next day.

On the first day, the camp started at 4pm. Everyone went to the AVT for a bag check on items that they could not bring to the camp. Their valuables were kept and the camp got started. Firstly, our Senior Tiara gave the cadets some expectations on what she would like to see during the camp. Everyone was then split into different groups with a mix of all the levels to design a flag and come up with a team and makan cheer. They were then given time to do a presentation of their design and their cheers and were judged by the Teacher officers to get points, we had a great time. Afterwards, we brought everyone down to the car park area near the basketball court to have their dinner. Everyone were given rations (maggie noodles) and they could request for extra food such as sardines or lychee. Then everyone washed the mass tins and their utensils and placed their things back into the AVT before going to shower and get ready to sleep.
