NCDCC SERVICE DAY

Henderson secondary school NCDCC cadets held the 4th NCDCC service day on 26/09/09 (Sat).
With the Unit RSM as the Student OIC, with Maam Norita As the school OIC. Four of other school NCDCC was also involve in the event as division 1 . south zone! Major Howard was the OIC from HQ on that event.
Beatty, ACS(I), HKSS, KRSS were the school that is involve. With the total strength of 116 on that day. 5 blocks around henderson was cover. The cadets provide CD knowledge to the citizen around there. Telling them about fire safety, CEPP, emergency preparedness and the new topic *ICE*.
It was a successful event.
HSS NCDCC like to thank all the people that ,make the event turn out great.

Hello dear HSS NCDCC cadets =)

In response to the comment that there is a lack of photos in this blog, I snapped away furiously just now and here is the product; ta-dah~

Today was the last CCA friday before the exams, and I hope everyone is preparing for the EOY exams. Also, good job for all the hard work put in so far this year! A big pat on the back to each and everyone of you; you deserve every badge and new rank you received this afternoon, and please continue to do your best, not only in CCA but also your studies.

A round of applause to all the ICs; remember, leadership is a kind of servitude ^^

On the 8th - 12th sep 09 , SSGT Ilham and Sofrie is going for UDI course. Its going to be a hard course as only 2 from each school can go each year. the 2 must be the best of the best.
From there, they will be promoted to WO with the approve interview by the HQ and OC unit.

Today basic school NCO training was darm fun and funny lor.

reported at 7.30am till 1pm

The claim the PTI was great.. Plus, the new improve footdrill MOI.

i try my best to give the very best to you all and i hope you appreciate it.

The straw game was also one simple test to be a leader but still the cadets make it strict.

Today is the last day of term 3.

We finish up the sec 1 first aid and sec 2 silver footdrill.

the cadets today perform very well and they move very fast and KILAT!

Proud of you guys, do take pride on what you are doing..

Hey people..
Today Our cadets for sec 2 did IPP. "Hazmat". It was crazy, some of them beat my timing. Me, the RSM. We make it as a game , best timing wins. So each of the cadets did thier very best. 4mins and less all my LCP n CPL do it.
Awesome!

Sec 1 however, My CSM Sofrie continue with the practical first aid as we want the sec1 cadets to be 100% well trained on first aid. Any fracture, come to them. Hee hee:)

Today was an informal day for HSS NCDCC.
We just did some theory and practical test.
Sec 1 advance first aid / Sec 2 Hazmat Theory.
However, after recess onwards it was a mini teacher's day in cca.
The sec one's perform a HEY TEACHER cheer , and the Sec2 present a skit.
It was funny , and lame and nonsense i can say because they didnt even try out the day before.
but effort thats counts.
I'm here the RSM didnt make it on that day due to my sickness. But i glad to say that im proud of you cadets. keep up the great job!

On the date 14/8/09, we started our cca with the PT then it was short,we also had our lessons
Sec2:Hazmat
Sec1:Total Defence
then we had our recess
after recess we had our mass parade then the badge ceremony for the I.Cs.Then after the whole ceremony it was about time and we march to the foyer and end our cca day with a loud NCDCC!Thats all!

CCA resume, We did some game in the morning then move on the lesson about CD shelter. After recess, cadets sit for the test then after that move on to footdrill.
RSM and CSM went for the NDP traning from 10-11am. It was ok n fun!
Today is also Mr rosli last day, the last 10mins we give him the farewell gifts and his last speech. Hope he take care and wish him all the best.

This year due to the H1N1 , our school didnt allow us to have overnite camp as like last year. However, our 3 days book in , book out camp was awesome!!! We have our own Nature Walk trip plus games at Mt Faber and Henderson Waves. Joke's game in school. The best things is, we are one big family and we look out for one another.

HEAD UNIT RSM ILHAM MSG

Henderson NCDCC Unit does not have any trained O/C, I ILham Adli SHah, willing to take up the position of Head Unit RSM in HSS NCDCC unit with full strength of 60cadets. I will follow the NCDCC motto strongly as i have Learnt and Lead , and now it is my duty to Serve my unit. Ex CPT Seet was the founder of HSS NCDCC. He helped in a lot of ways in the past one year of his service in this unit. After he leave, Ms Norita became the T/O of my unit, but Ms Norita is not a trained officer. I and her are trying our best to uphold the high standard of this UG CCA. I will try my very best to make HSS NCDCC the most unique UG CCA in Singapore. I will not only focus on the core NCDCC syllabus e.g fire fighting,rescue drills,paramedic and foot drill. I am here to add many different elements in the CCA program such as Sport, dancer and even Music productions.

I also like to thank my right hand man, Sofrie(3N1) who is the CSM in the unit , my IC's. Ms Tay, Ms Lye and Mr Rosli, the always-there-for-you teacher. With all these teachers in HSS NCDCC. I believe that my school will be proud to have us as part of their 7 Ugs CCA. Lastly , i like to thank Mrs Yeo for opening NCDCC in late 2007.
