Promotion Ceremony and Mini Inter-UG Games 2012

Today was an eventful CCA Friday for our cadets, as we had our second Promotion Ceremony of the year. 16 Sec 1 cadets received their Lance Corporal rank, while 13 Sec 2s received their Corporal rank. The cadets who represented the unit for the Precision Drill Competition were also awarded their hard-earned PDC badges, which makes them the very first cadets in the history of the HSS NCDCC Unit to receive the badges. Hard work is always rewarded!

Another significant event was the announcement of the USM and ASM of the unit; USM Muhd Farihin B Rasid and ASM Nur Balilah have consistently shown themselves to be outstanding, reliable, and caring leaders. They exemplify the NCDCC motto of Learn, Lead, and Serve, and the rest of the cadets in the unit can learn much from them. Congratulations, USM and ASM!

To end off the already-exciting day, there was a mini Inter-UG games organised by the NCDCC unit, with SJAB providing first aid support. As the pictures show, it was a resounding success, with all players going home tired but happy. 2013 will definitely see more collaborations between the UGs in HSS; this is only the beginning!
